Domestic coffee prices officially reach 100,000 VND/kg

(GLO)- Domestic coffee prices on August 2 continued to increase by 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 100,000 VND/kg. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in key areas is 99,900 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Gia Lai and Lam Dong provinces, coffee was purchased by traders at the same price of 99,800 VND/kg. In Dak Lak province alone, after increasing by 300 VND/kg, the price of coffee reached 100,000 VND/kg.

In contrast to the domestic market, coffee prices fell across both international exchanges. Specifically, the price of Robusta coffee futures for September 2025 delivery on the London exchange fell 0.91%, equivalent to 31 USD/ton; listed at 3,370 USD/ton.

At the same time, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor for September 2025 delivery was 291.75 USD cents/lb; down 1.37%, equivalent to 4.05 USD cents/lb compared to the previous session.

Brazilian Arabica coffee prices remained stable, down slightly from the previous trading session, fluctuating between 342.35 and 369.75 USD/ton; the September 2025 delivery period is 369.25 USD/ton.
