Domestic coffee prices stable, world prices increase sharply

(GLO)- On October 22, the domestic coffee market continued to maintain stable prices after a series of slight increases. Meanwhile, world coffee prices increased sharply through delivery periods.

Domestic coffee prices currently fluctuate between 113,500 and 114,500 VND/kg. Specifically, in Gia Lai , coffee is being purchased at 114,000 VND/kg; in Lam Dong, it is lower, around 113,500 VND/kg.

Coffee price in Dak Lak is at 114,500 VND/kg, also the locality with the highest price in the region.

The domestic coffee market is temporarily entering a period of stagnation, as old crop supply is still abundant while the new harvest has not officially begun.

In contrast, world coffee prices have increased. Accordingly, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor for November 2025 delivery increased by 104 USD/ton, to 4,620 USD/ton; the January 2026 contract increased by 110 USD/ton, to 4,574 USD/ton.

On the New York floor, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in December 2025 increased by 7.5 cents/lb, to 413.55 cents/lb; the contract for delivery in March 2026 increased by 7.95 cents/lb, to 391.25 cents/lb.

Brazilian Arabica coffee prices also increased continuously compared to yesterday's trading session with the December 2025 delivery period being 492.4 cents/lb; March 2026 delivery period being 482.4 cents/lb. The strongest increase was the September 2026 delivery period (up 2.54%), reaching 422.3 cents/lb.
