In Singapore, TSR20 rubber price On SGX; TSR20 rubber futures contract for June 2025 delivery traded at 169.20 cents/kg, down 1.28%; TSR20 rubber futures contract for July 2025 delivery traded at 171.80 cents/kg, up 0.12%; TSR20 rubber futures contract for August 2025 delivery traded at 171.70 cents/kg, up 0.12%; TSR20 rubber futures contract for September 2025 delivery traded at 169.30 cents/kg, down 1.34%; TSR20 rubber futures contract for October 2025 delivery traded at 169.70 cents/kg, down 1.28%.

The start of overseas rubber tapping is expected to significantly boost the supply of raw materials, according to China's financial news site Tonghuashun, Business Recorder reported.

“May output is rising steadily, with supply exceeding the same period last year, according to Jinlianchuang Consulting. Rubber trees typically experience a low season from February to May, before entering a peak tapping period that lasts until September. However, overseas rubber tapping has been disrupted by bad weather,” Tonghuashun added.

In a related development, the US dollar fell 0.55% to 143.715 Japanese yen in yesterday's session. A stronger currency makes yen-denominated assets less attractive to foreign buyers.

Meanwhile, China's rubber tire exports in the first four months of 2025 rose 6.2% year-on-year to 3.03 million tonnes, according to brokerage Everbright Futures, citing data from the General Administration of Customs of China.

Natural rubber inventories at Qingdao port fell 1.12 percent from a week earlier to 380,100 tonnes, according to China's rubber trade portal Natural Rubber Network.

In Europe, the European Commission (EC) has officially launched an anti-dumping investigation into passenger car and light commercial vehicle (PC/LT) tires imported from China, following a complaint from the "Coalition Against Unfair Tire Imports".

The investigation was officially launched on 21 May, to clarify allegations that Chinese-made tyres are being sold in the EU at “unfairly low prices”, causing serious damage to European manufacturers.

The investigation into dumping and injury will cover the period from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

According to details of the case released by the EC, the complaint alleges that the dumping margins of PC/LT tyres from China range from 41% to 104%.

Price of mixed latex: Cup latex, coagulated latex with DRC ≥ 50% at 18,000 VND/kg; Cup latex, coagulated latex with DRC from 45-50% at 16,700 VND/kg; Clotted latex with DRC from 35-45% at 13,500 VND/kg.

Price at Binh Long Rubber Company: Water latex: 386-396 VND/TSC/kg; mixed latex with 60% DRC is 14,000 VND/kg.
