Customers go down to the garden to choose the most satisfactory peach trees.

Hiep An Ward (Kinh Mon, Hai Duong ) has over 20 hectares of peach trees and some other flowers for Tet. The local price of peach trees for Tet is from 350,000 to 650,000 VND/tree, an increase of 70,000 to 100,000 VND/tree compared to last year. The reason is that this year the weather is favorable and the care techniques of the people have helped the peach trees bloom beautifully, right on Tet holiday.

Peach trees in Hiep An have large flowers, thick petals, and bright colors. Traders from many places come to buy and sell them in the provinces and cities of Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Hanoi , Bac Ninh, etc. Peach trees grown in Hiep An are favored by consumers because of their beautiful appearance and affordable price.

At this time, people have sold 90% of the peaches. The ward has established a Peach Growing Professional Association, supporting people with planting and care techniques, fertilizers and pesticides.

In Hiep An, people mainly grow Vietnamese peaches. Some households invest in buying wild peach roots and grafting them with Vietnamese peach buds to make the trees stronger and produce more beautiful flowers.
