Northern region
The price of live pigs today (January 10, 2025) in the Northern region continued to record a slight increase in Thai Nguyen and Thai Binh provinces, both increasing by VND 1,000 to VND 69,000/kg. Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is fluctuating between VND 68,000 - 69,000/kg.

Of which, Hanoi, Bac Giang , Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen and Thai Binh are the provinces with the highest live pig price in the country at 69,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities in the region are trading live pig price at 68,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region
The price of live pigs today (January 10, 2025) in the Central Highlands region continues to record a flat price. Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region fluctuates between 66,000 - 68,000 VND/kg. In particular, Lam Dong province still maintains the highest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg.
Next, Thanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, and Dak Lak provinces increased the purchase price to 68,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces had live pig prices ranging from 66,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.

Southern region
Similarly, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (January 10, 2025) continues to record no price fluctuations in the provinces and cities. Currently, the price of live pigs in the Southern region is fluctuating between 66,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
In particular, the price of live pigs in Kien Giang increased by one, reaching 69,000 VND/kg, the same transaction level as Dong Nai and Tay Ninh. In Can Tho, Soc Trang, Ca Mau and Ben Tre, the price of live pigs reached 68,000 VND/kg. An Giang and Bac Lieu both increased to 67,000 VND/kg.
In general, the live hog market today has a slight increase in the Northern region, while the price in the other two regions continues to be stable. Survey shows that live hogs nationwide are being traded in the range of 66,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
