Pig price in the North
In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today continued to increase slightly in many key localities, bringing the common price level closer to 70,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, Bac Giang increased by 1,000 VND/kg, to 69,000 VND/kg. Hung Yen also recorded the highest price in the region, reaching 70,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Nam Dinh and Yen Bai both increased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 68,000 VND/kg.
In general, the price of live pigs in the Northern region today fluctuates between 68,000 - 70,000 VND/kg, showing a stable recovery trend.
Pig price in Central Highlands
Pig prices in the Central Highlands are generally stable, but still recorded some slight increases compared to yesterday.
Specifically, Quang Tri and Quang Binh both increased by 1,000 VND/kg, reaching 69,000 and 70,000 VND/kg respectively. In the Central Highlands, Dak Lak increased by 1,000 VND, raising the purchase price to 73,000 VND/kg - equal to the high level in the South.
Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands is fluctuating between 69,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the South
After a period of stagnation, the price of live pigs in the South today turned to increase in many localities.
An Giang and Vinh Long both recorded an increase of VND1,000/kg, bringing the purchase price to VND73,000/kg. Tra Vinh increased to VND74,000/kg, while Ben Tre was the locality with the highest price in the region, reaching VND75,000/kg.
In general, the Southern region continues to maintain its role as the place with the highest live pig price in the country, with a common level of 73,000 - 75,000 VND/kg.
