The price of live pigs in Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi and Tuyen Quang is all at 68,000 VND/kg.
Bac Giang alone is the locality with the highest price in the region at 69,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs on May 19 also remained unchanged, ranging from 67,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, the price in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An is at 68,000 VND/kg; Ha Tinh is 1 price lower at 67,000 VND/kg.
Quang Binh, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces all recorded a price of 69,000 VND/kg.
In Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa, the price of live pigs reached 70,000 VND/kg, Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan recorded a price of 72,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan anchored at the highest level in the region at 73,000 VND/kg.
The price of live pigs in the Southern region on May 19 was also stable, fluctuating between 73,000 - 75,000 VND/kg.
According to records, the provinces of Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Tay Ninh have a price of 73,000 VND/kg.
In Dong Nai, Vung Tau, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Tra Vinh and Soc Trang, the transaction price is 74,000 VND/kg.
Long An, An Giang, Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces are the localities with the highest prices in the region at 75,000 VND/kg.
