Pig price in the North
A survey in the Northern region on the morning of May 31 showed that the price of live pigs remained stable at around 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, Hanoi , Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Thai Binh and Tuyen Quang are the localities with the highest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the lowest price in the region is 67,000 VND/kg recorded in Lao Cai, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh.
Pig price in Central Highlands
The pig market in the Central Highlands is also quiet this morning. Currently, localities in the region are purchasing pigs at prices ranging from 67,000 - 74,000 VND/kg.
Lam Dong and Binh Thuan are the two provinces with the highest price of live pigs in the region, at VND74,000/kg. Following them are Dak Lak, Ninh Thuan and Binh Dinh provinces, with live pig prices of VND73,000/kg, VND72,000/kg and VND70,000/kg, respectively.
Pig price in the South
Moving sideways following the general trend, live pigs in the South remained traded in the range of 73,000 - 76,000 VND/kg.
According to the survey, Long An is the only province that maintains the price of 76,000 VND/kg, the highest in the country. Next are Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, An Giang , Tien Giang, Ben Tre and Can Tho City with the price of live pigs reaching 75,000 VND/kg.
