Sharing with the provincial leaders, Consul General Daniël Stork said that the Netherlands is currently a major investor in the EU (European Union) region in Vietnam, and is also a major export market for Vietnam in the EU. In 2024, trade turnover between the Netherlands and Vietnam will reach 13.7 billion USD, an increase of 26.3% over the same period in 2023.
The Netherlands is currently investing in Dong Nai in 18 projects in the fields of agriculture and industry. Among them, some large investors such as De Hues, Vopark, Heineken… are operating very effectively in the province.

Consul General Daniël Stork acknowledged the support and facilitation for Dutch businesses operating in the province. According to Mr. Daniël Stork, Dong Nai has a favorable investment environment and a sustainable development orientation, which has greatly contributed to the success of Dutch businesses in Dong Nai.
The Consul General hopes that Dong Nai and the Netherlands will have more cooperation in the field of logistics... At the same time, he hopes that in the coming time, the new Dong Nai province will continue to become a key economic zone of the Southern region.
Exchanging information with the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc said that Dong Nai currently has 50 countries and territories investing in a total of over 1,700 projects, with a total registered capital of over 36 billion USD.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the Netherlands is one of the important investment partners of Dong Nai province. Currently, Dutch enterprises have invested more than 937 million USD in the province. The province hopes that through the meeting, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City will have more information about Dong Nai province to serve as a basis for opening up new opportunities for cooperation and development.
At the same time, the province hopes that the Consulate General will continue to be a bridge to introduce Dutch businesses to learn about and invest in Dong Nai. The province is committed to continuing to create favorable conditions for foreign investors in general and Dutch businesses in particular in their operations, together aiming for sustainable development goals.
