Pig market situation in the North
The Northern region on the morning of July 25 did not record any price changes compared to the previous day. The purchase price here is currently between 60,000 and 62,000 VND/kg.
The price of 62,000 VND/kg is currently recorded in many localities including Hanoi , Hai Phong, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Son La and Hung Yen. Meanwhile, the price of live pigs in Lang Son, Quang Ninh and Lao Cai is currently 61,000 VND/kg. The lowest price in the region, 60,000 VND/kg, is recorded in the two provinces of Lai Chau and Dien Bien.
Pig price situation in the Central Highlands region
In the Central Highlands region, the sideways trend also appeared simultaneously this morning in the provinces and cities. Market survey shows that traders are trading live pigs at a range of 59,000 to 63,000 VND/kg.
Lam Dong is the only locality in the region that records the highest price at 63,000 VND/kg. In contrast, Gia Lai is purchasing live pigs at 59,000 VND/kg, which is the lowest price nationwide. The remaining localities in the region maintain prices from 60,000 to 61,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the South
The Southern region continues to keep prices stable, fluctuating between 63,000 and 65,000 VND/kg, following the general price stagnation trend nationwide.
Ca Mau is currently the province with the highest price for live pigs nationwide at 65,000 VND/kg. Following are Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho City, where live pigs are being traded at 64,000 VND/kg. Other localities in the region sell live pigs at a stable price of 63,000 VND/kg.
