On April 23, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province issued Official Dispatch No. 1061/UBND-KTTH on temporarily suspending the purchase of goods on the list of centralized purchases in 2025 in the area.
At the request of the Department of Finance, the Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, provincial budget units; People's Committees of districts, towns, cities; Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to temporarily suspend the purchase of goods on the 2025 centralized procurement list in the province, including: cars for general work, photocopiers, air conditioners until the Provincial People's Committee has new instructions to implement the policy of merging a number of provincial-level administrative units, not organizing at the district level, continuing to merge commune-level administrative units; implementing the 2-level local model to ensure streamlining, efficiency, effectiveness, efficiency, and saving the state budget.
During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties or problems, agencies and units should report to the Provincial People's Committee (through the Department of Finance) for timely guidance and direction.
Previously, the Ministry of Finance issued Document No. 13749/BTC-NSNN dated December 14, 2024 guiding the principles for handling assets, finances, and state budget in the process of restructuring the apparatus. On April 21, the Department of Finance issued Document No. 162/TTr-STC proposing to temporarily suspend the purchase of goods on the list of centralized purchases in 2025 in the province.
