According to the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, storm No. 13 may cause strong winds of level 12-14, waves of 7-9 m high, accompanied by heavy rains of 200-400 mm, and in some places over 600 mm. The risk of deep flooding, landslides and flash floods in low-lying areas, along rivers and streams and on mountain slopes is warned at a very high level.
Faced with this situation, the Provincial People's Committee directed the immediate establishment of working groups to go down to villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods to review and forcefully evacuate 100% of households in high-risk areas, especially temporary houses, riverbanks, stream banks, boat mooring areas, and aquaculture cages. The evacuation must be completed before 10:00 a.m. on November 6.

In the western region, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requested the implementation of a landslide response plan and the arrangement of safe shelters for people living along hillsides and streams. Military, police, and militia forces were mobilized to key areas, with rescue vehicles ready and blockades at traffic routes at risk of landslides.
Agencies and functional units must be on duty 24/7, monitor and update weather developments and promptly report to the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue. The Provincial People's Committee emphasizes the responsibility of leaders, requiring strict handling if there is damage to people and property due to subjectivity, negligence or delay in implementing instructions.
