Gia Loc hands over 'farmer's shelter' house

Gia Loc District Farmers' Association has just organized the handover of a "warm farmer's home" to the family of Mr. Dong Van Tho (born in 1952) in Luy Duong village, Gia Tien commune.

Mr. Tho’s family is in a particularly difficult situation. For many years, his family has lived in a level 4 house that has seriously deteriorated, with cracked walls and a leaky roof, making it unsafe during the rainy and stormy season.

After reaching an agreement with Mr. Tho's family, the District Farmers' Association organized the construction of a new house of 65 square meters, with a total construction cost of nearly 200 million VND. Of which, Xuyen Viet Production and Trading Joint Stock Company supported 50 million VND; Gia Loc District Farmers' Association mobilized 4 households with good production and business to support 20 million VND; Gia Tien Commune Farmers' Association supported 5 million VND and many working days of construction. The remaining amount was donated by family and relatives.
