Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 380 (fresh) rice fluctuates at 5,300 - 5,500 VND/kg; the price of OM 5451 (fresh) rice fluctuates at 6,000 - 6,200 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 (fresh) rice fluctuates at 5,200 - 5,400 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 (fresh) rice fluctuates at 6,800 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 (fresh) rice fluctuates at 6,800 VND/kg; the price of OM 380 (fresh) rice fluctuates at 5,300 - 5,500 VND/kg; the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuates at 6,650 - 6,750 VND/kg.

In many localities today, the early Summer-Autumn rice supply is low and prices are stable. In Kien Giang, the early Summer-Autumn rice supply is low, traders are slow, and prices are stable. In Can Tho , the demand for new Summer-Autumn rice is low and prices are stable.

In An Giang, the supply is low, buying and selling transactions are stable, prices are stable. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the supply is low, prices of all types of rice are stable. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), rice of all types is stable, buying and selling transactions are still slow.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to the weekend. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND14,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND16,000/kg; Soc rice often fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 20,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to the end of the week. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 397 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 368 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 325 USD/ton.
