Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,200 - 5,400 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,300 - 5,500 VND/kg; the price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,000 - 6,200 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,800 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,800 VND/kg; the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuates at 6,650 - 6,750 VND/kg.

In many localities today, dry rice transactions are slow, prices are stable; the early summer-autumn rice harvest is small, prices fluctuate little. In Can Tho , the summer-autumn rice harvest is large, the weather is bad, demand is slow, prices are stable. In Kien Giang, the early summer-autumn rice harvest is sporadic, transactions are still slow, prices are stable.

In An Giang , Summer-Autumn rice transactions are still slow, prices fluctuate little. In Dong Thap, new purchasing power is slow, prices are stable. In Tien Giang, new transactions are slow. In Long An, new rice transactions are still slow, traders are absent, prices fluctuate little.

Similar to rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently raw rice 5451 fluctuates at 9,450 - 9,550 VND/kg; raw rice OM 380 fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; raw rice IR 504 fluctuates at 8,250 - 8,350 VND/kg; raw rice CL 555 fluctuates at 8,600 - 8,800 VND/kg; raw rice OM 18 fluctuates at 10,200 - 10,400 VND/kg; finished rice OM 380 fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; finished rice IR 504 fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

As for by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,400 - 9,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice has decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; the price of bran fluctuates at 8,000 - 9,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, the supply of 50404, OM 380 varieties is low, prices are stable, warehouses are slow to buy. In An Giang, the supply is low, buying and selling transactions are quiet, prices fluctuate little. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), in terms of quantity, prices of all types of rice are relatively stable. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), buying and selling transactions are quite slow, prices are stable.

At retail markets, the prices of all types of rice remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND14,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND16,000/kg; Soc rice often fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 20,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 396 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 368 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 325 USD/ton.
