In the Southern region, prices in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai were both at 144,500 VND/kg.

According to an update from the International Pepper Association (IPC), at the end of the most recent trading session, the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper reached 7,108 USD/ton, while Muntok white pepper was at 9,745 USD/ton.

In Brazil, ASTA 570 black pepper was offered at $6,175 per ton. Meanwhile, Malaysian ASTA black pepper remained stable at $9,200 per ton and ASTA white pepper reached $12,300 per ton.

The Vietnamese market recorded that black pepper prices today remained high, with 500 g/l traded at 6,400 USD/ton, 550 g/l at 6,600 USD/ton; white pepper was listed at 9,050 USD/ton.

By the end of October 2025, Vietnam had exported over 206,000 tons of pepper, bringing in a turnover of about 1.39 billion USD. This result has exceeded the 1.31 billion USD of the whole year 2024 and is only a small distance from the record 1.43 billion USD of 2016. The US is currently the largest consumer market, in the context of increasing export prices thanks to the recovery of global spice demand.

On November 14, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order exempting reciprocal tariffs on many agricultural products including coffee, tea, tropical fruits, cocoa and spices, including pepper. This is considered a positive signal to help Vietnamese businesses reduce costs and expand market share in the US market.

Coffee prices

Coffee prices in the Central Highlands continued to decrease slightly, fluctuating between 108,500 - 110,500 VND/kg.

Specifically, Lam Dong recorded 108,500 VND/kg, Dak Lak 110,500 VND/kg, and Gia Lai reached 109,800 VND/kg.

Currently, the US is the world's largest coffee importer, with a total value of up to 9 billion USD in 2024. While Brazil holds the leading position in exports to this market, Vietnam ranks 8th with a turnover of 364 million USD.

At the end of the most recent trading session, the price of Robusta coffee on the London exchange for November 2025 delivery increased by 204 USD/ton to 4,453 USD/ton; the January 2026 contract increased by 260 USD/ton to 4,483 USD/ton.

On the New York floor, Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery increased by 2.75 cents/lb to 402.55 cents/lb; March 2026 delivery increased by 2.6 cents/lb to 376.6 cents/lb. Price movements showed that coffee increased sharply at the beginning of the week after a period of deep decline, with Arabica recovering more slightly and Robusta accelerating strongly.
