  • Type A: 72,000 - 75,000 VND/kg
  • Type B: 55,000 - 60,000 VND/kg
  • Type C: 40,000 - 50,000 VND/kg

Market analysis and trend forecasting

The main reason for the fluctuation in durian prices in recent times is due to the impact of weather. Prolonged heavy rains have reduced the quality of the fruit, increased the rate of hard and broken rice, and reduced the quantity of qualified goods.

In the Central Highlands, especially Dak Lak, supplies are gradually running out as the crop season is nearing its end. Meanwhile, some large warehouses in the Mekong Delta still maintain high prices of 93,000 - 95,000 VND/kg for standard rice to meet export orders.

Traders said that durian prices could increase again in the next week if demand from the Chinese market and export enterprises remains stable. Another positive sign is that customs clearance at northern border gates has become more favorable, reducing congestion. This is expected to help the market recover, bringing stable profits to farmers in the context of rising production costs for the off-season crop.
