Pork price today May 26: Stable in the first trading session of the week

Pork prices today, May 26, remain stable at the WinMart store system. Of which, pork shoulder is currently sold at 126,320 VND/kg. Live pig prices continue to remain unchanged in localities this morning. Currently, traders nationwide are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from 67,000 - 75,000 VND/kg.

According to the latest survey, the price of Meat Deli chilled pork from winmart.vn continues to trend sideways, fluctuating between 119,922 - 163,122 VND/kg and is discounted by 20% according to the preferential program for WinMart members.

Accordingly, ground pork, lean pork leg and lean pork shoulder products are priced at VND119,922/kg, VND122,320/kg and VND126,320/kg respectively. Next, boneless ham and lean pork shoulder are sold at VND127,922/kg and VND157,520/kg respectively.

Similarly, the price of pork products at Ha Hien Fresh Food Company continued to not record any adjustment this morning, remaining in the range of 85,000 - 181,000 VND/kg.

Of which, pork shoulder and pork leg are still sold at the same price of 130,000 VND/kg. Next, pork belly is 159,000 VND/kg, pork tail is 168,000 VND/kg and pork ribs are 181,000 VND/kg.

Pig price today

The northern pig market continued to be quiet on the morning of May 26, maintaining the selling price from 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, Bac Giang is the only province in the region with a live hog price of VND69,000/kg. Meanwhile, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh are the provinces that buy live hogs at VND67,000/kg, the lowest in the region.

Live pigs in the Central Highlands region also saw a price drop this morning. Currently, live pigs in this region are being bought and sold at a difference of around 67,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.

Of which, the highest regional price of 73,000 VND/kg was recorded in Binh Thuan . Following that were Lam Dong, Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan provinces with live pig price reaching 72,000 VND/kg.

The price of live pigs in the Southern region is sold at prices ranging from 73,000 - 75,000 VND/kg.

The South is currently the region with the highest price of live pigs in the country. In addition to Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong , Tay Ninh, Kien Giang, Soc Trang and Ho Chi Minh City trading at 73,000 VND/kg, live pigs in the remaining localities in the region are purchased at 74,000 - 75,000 VND/kg.
