Doji Gold and Gemstone Group listed SJC gold bars at 77.65 - 80.25 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 800,000 VND/tael compared to this afternoon.
Late afternoon, gold bar prices at other major gold companies also had a similar decrease. Gold prices at Bao Tin Minh Chau were listed at VND77.85 - 80.15 million/tael (buy - sell) at the end of the afternoon. Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group also closed the trading session on March 2 at VND77.8 - 80.2 million/tael (buy - sell).

Meanwhile, the price of gold rings not only did not decrease but also increased slightly. Round gold rings of 1-5 chi at SJC closed the trading session at 65.3 - 66.5 million VND/tael, unchanged from the record high this afternoon.
9999 round gold ring at Doji closed the trading session at 66.6 - 67.8 million VND/tael (buy - sell), up 100,000 VND for buying and up 200,000 VND for selling compared to this afternoon.
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, 9999 round smooth gold rings closed at 66.78 - 67.98 million VND/tael, an increase of 60,000 VND/tael compared to this afternoon.
Thus, the price of gold rings continues to set new high records at some domestic gold companies.
On the world market, the gold price listed on Kitco was at 2,083 USD/ounce, up 40 USD/ounce compared to early this morning. Gold futures last traded at 2,092.7 USD/ounce, up 38.7 USD. This increase far exceeded the forecast of many experts that world gold would only increase to about 2,050 USD/ounce.
