Doji Hanoi listed at 66.35 million VND per tael for buying and 67 million VND per tael for selling.
Gold prices ended last week near $2,000 an ounce after rising to nearly $2,050 an ounce in the middle of last week.
Gold prices unexpectedly fell due to selling pressure from investors to take profits. However, according to analysts, the decline is only temporary. In the long term, gold is on an upward trend but will be slower than last week.

Regarding the dollar price , the exchange rate of Vietnamese Dong against the US dollar was listed by the State Bank on April 15 at 23,588 VND. The reference exchange rate at the State Bank Exchange was listed at 23,450 VND for buying and 24,717 VND for selling per dollar.
In the world, the price of the US dollar increased slightly. The DXY index measuring the fluctuations of the US dollar against a basket of 6 major currencies on the night of April 16, Vietnam time, reached 101.58 points.
Oil prices on the world market increased sharply last week. At the end of last week, Brent crude oil price was traded at 86.31 USD per barrel, WTI crude oil price closed the week at 82.52 USD per barrel.
For the week, Brent crude rose 1.5% and WTI crude rose 2.4%. Last week was also the fourth consecutive week of increases for world oil prices. Four weeks is the longest streak of oil price increases since June 2022.
In the domestic market, the selling prices of gasoline and oil today are applied according to the prices at the April 11 management session of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, the selling price of E5 RON 92 gasoline is 23,170 VND per liter. RON 95 gasoline is 24,240 VND per liter. Diesel price is no higher than 20,140 VND per liter. Kerosene price is 19,730 VND per liter.
