The price of gold rings also decreased to 114 million VND, sold at 116.6 million VND. The decrease was slower, so the price of SJC gold bars continued to widen the expensive level compared to the world to 16.7 million VND/tael, gold rings were higher at 12.8 million VND/tael.

SJC gold bar price slightly decreased

The world gold price fell by $35 to $3,285/ounce. Gold fell due to profit-taking by investors, recording a 1% drop last week and a 6% drop from an all-time high of $3,500/ounce. Analysts noted that new selling pressure on gold appeared as concerns about the global economy began to ease. Although there are still many worries surrounding financial markets, some economists believe that economic uncertainty has peaked.

On the contrary, Kelvin Wong, Senior Market Analyst at OANDA, does not believe that the gold rally is over. He said that if there is still no breakthrough in the US-China trade talks and more US sectoral tariffs are implemented, the possibility of greater uncertainty in business plans and the risk of stagflation in the US will increase. This will weaken the US dollar and boost the value of gold further. The medium-term and main bullish phases for gold remain intact, with the next medium-term resistance levels at $3,670 and $3,890.

This week, the market will receive important news releases such as Canadian federal election, US JOLTS employment, consumer confidence, ADP employment data, US Q1 GDP, pending home sales, Bank of Japan monetary policy meeting, weekly jobless claims, ISM manufacturing PMI, non -farm payrolls./.
