The price of gold rings increased by 800,000 VND per tael, SJC Company bought at 114 million VND, sold at 116.6 million VND, Phu Quy Company bought at 114.8 million VND, sold at 117.8 million VND... The difference between the buying and selling price of SJC gold bars was 2 million VND/tael, and gold rings increased by nearly 3 million VND/tael. The price of SJC gold bars was 15.7 million VND/tael higher than the world price , while gold rings were 11 million VND/tael higher.

World gold prices rose to $3,333/ounce, reaching $3,348/ounce in the US trading session (night of April 28). Gold prices continued to show strong technical support above the $3,300/ounce threshold, as traders reacted to developments in US-China trade relations.

According to the latest data from the China Gold Association (CGA), China's gold consumption fell 5.96% in the first three months of 2025, with gold consumption in China reaching 290.49 tonnes. The decline was particularly pronounced in jewelry and investment demand, with China's gold jewelry consumption falling 26.85% year-on-year to 134.53 tonnes, while gold bar and coin consumption fell 29.81% to 138.02 tonnes./.
