Gold price lost 120 million VND/tael

Early this afternoon, the company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 117.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 119.5 million VND/tael (sell), down 1 million VND/tael each way compared to early this morning.

The price of gold rings also continued to decline. Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed gold rings of type 1-5 at only 112.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 115 million VND/tael (sell), lower than the morning price by 1 million VND/tael each afternoon.

Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company listed the price at 112.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 115.5 million VND/tael (sell) compared to 113.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.5 million VND/tael (sell) early this morning.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited lowered the price of plain round gold rings to 116 million VND/tael (buy) - 119 million VND/tael (sell). The price of SJC gold bars here also dropped below 120 million VND/tael.

This morning, the price of SJC gold bars decreased by 500,000 VND/tael each way, the price of gold rings decreased by 500,000-1,000,000 VND/tael each way.

Thus, compared to last weekend, the price of SJC gold bars has decreased by a total of 1.5 million VND/tael; the price of gold rings has decreased by 1-2 million VND/tael. The current price is the lowest since April 24.

Enterprises set the common buying-selling price range for gold rings at 2.5-3 million VND/tael; SJC gold bars at 2 million VND/tael.

On the international market, at nearly 2:00 p.m., the gold price decreased by more than 36 USD/ounce, trading at 3,283.9 USD/ounce, converted to about 15.6 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
