Gold ring price skyrockets, SJC gold bars stable

(NLDO) - The price of gold rings increased sharply following the world trend while the price of SJC gold bars remained stable at 83.5 million VND/tael.

On the morning of November 16, SJC Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at 80 million VND/tael and the selling price at 83.5 million VND/tael, stable compared to yesterday morning. This is also the trading price of gold bars at PNJ, DOJI , and Bao Tin Minh Chau. Mi Hong Company raised the buying price of gold bars to 81.3 million VND/tael and the selling price in the afternoon to 83.5 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, the price of gold rings and jewelry of all kinds recovered strongly compared to yesterday. The price of 99.99 gold rings was bought by SJC Company at 79.5 million VND/tael, sold at 82 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday morning. PNJ Company sold plain gold rings at a higher price, 82.6 million VND/tael; DOJI sold at 82.7 million VND/tael.

Gold ring price increases again

Domestic gold prices have opposite movements between SJC gold bars and gold rings. Gold bar prices stopped decreasing while gold ring prices increased strongly following the world. In the international market, today's gold price closed the trading week at 2563 USD/ounce, up about 6 USD/ounce compared to yesterday morning.

Precious metals on the international market fluctuated within a narrow range after many consecutive sessions of decline. If calculated from the peak of 2,790 USD/ounce, the world gold price has decreased by about 200 USD/ounce.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 79.1 million VND/tael.
