Gold price “falls” from historical mark

The reason is that the world gold price has increased slowly. At 2:30 p.m., the international gold price was trading at 3,204 USD/ounce, compared to 3,213 USD/ounce at 8:30 a.m. the same day.

The converted world gold price is currently about 5.4 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.

In the domestic market, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed plain round gold rings at VND100.9 million/tael (buy) - VND104.5 million/tael (sell), down VND900,000/tael (buy) and VND1.1 million/tael (sell) compared to the same morning.

Saigon Jewelry Company Limited reduced the price by VND1.3 million/tael (buying price) and VND1 million/tael (selling price), to VND101.1 million/tael (buying price) - VND104.4 million/tael (selling price).

Meanwhile, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company listed at 100.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 104.3 million VND/tael (sell).

The price of SJC gold bars also went down. Enterprises set it at 102.7 million VND/tael (buy) - 105.7 million VND/tael (sell), 700,000 VND/tael lower than in the morning each afternoon.

The buying-selling price range commonly listed by businesses is 3-3.6 million VND/tael.

This morning, the price of SJC gold bars skyrocketed by 2.8 million VND/tael; the price of gold rings also increased sharply but at a slower rate.

With the above developments, compared to the end of yesterday, the price of SJC gold bars increased by 2.1 million VND/tael each way, gold rings increased by 200,000-1,300,000 VND/tael (buying price) and 800,000-1,600,000 VND/tael (selling price).

Thus, the price of SJC gold bars has just set a new record at 106.4 million VND/tael and the price of gold rings has reached an all-time high of 105.6 million VND/tael and has quickly left these levels.
