Airfare prices for the April 30 - May 1 holiday are similar to Lunar New Year

The above price is equivalent to the price recorded during Lunar New Year 2025.

On the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang route, the ticket price for the departure flight on April 29, 2025 was also recorded at a high level, from 2.5 million VND with Vietnam Airlines, while Vietjet Air and Bamboo Airways had prices ranging from 1.5 to 2.2 million VND.

The Hanoi - Da Nang route has a higher ticket price of 2.3 to 3.5 million VND with Vietnam Airlines, and 1.9 to 2.4 million VND with other airlines.

For the Hanoi - Phu Quoc route, Vietnam Airlines lists the highest ticket price at 4.5 million VND, while Vietjet Air's ticket price ranges from 2.7 to 4.3 million VND, and Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc's ticket price ranges from 1.6 to 2.7 million VND.

Hanoi - Cam Ranh route, recorded price from 3.3 to 3.7 million VND.

In the opposite direction, from tourist destinations back to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, ticket prices gradually increase during the last days of the holiday.

Surveyed on May 4, 2025, the highest recorded ticket price for the Cam Ranh - Hanoi route of VietJet Air is 3.68 million VND, while the remaining airlines are currently out of economy class tickets.

From Cam Ranh to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietjet Air recorded a price of 1.8 million VND, while Vietnam Airlines' highest price was up to 2.7 million VND.

On the Phu Quoc - Hanoi route, on May 4, 2025, all economy class tickets are sold out, while on the return leg to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Airlines' ticket prices range from 1.9 to 2.7 million VND, while the remaining airlines (Vietjet Air, Bamboo Airways, Vietravel Airlines) all record an average price of 1.8 million VND.

During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, domestic airlines are expected to operate 7,536 flights, providing about 1.5 million seats, an average of 685 flights per day, an increase of more than 20% compared to normal days and the same period last year. The number of flights has been increased due to airlines adding nearly 10 aircraft compared to the same period last year, bringing the total to more than 200.

Aviation authorities recommend that passengers buy tickets through official sales channels and monitor airlines' operating plans during peak periods.
