The price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (June 12). The price of E5RON92 gasoline increased by VND200/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by VND270/liter; the price of diesel oil increased by VND280/liter; kerosene increased by VND230/liter, and fuel oil this period also increased by VND290/liter compared to the previous period (June 5).

The new gasoline prices were announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on June 12.

Gasoline prices were adjusted up by the joint ministries from the afternoon of June 12.

Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 gasoline increased by VND200/liter compared to the previous adjustment period, the new selling price will be VND19,460/liter. The price of RON95-III gasoline will not be higher than VND19,960/liter, after being adjusted up by VND270/liter compared to the retail price from June 5.

Also from 3:00 p.m. on June 12, the price of 0.05S diesel oil will not be higher than 17,700 VND/liter (an increase of 280 VND compared to the current retail price); The price of kerosene oil will not be higher than 17,510 VND/liter (an increase of 230 VND/liter compared to the current retail price). During this adjustment period, the price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil will also increase by 290 VND/liter compared to the previous period, the new selling price is 16,460 VND/kg.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market in this operating period (from June 5 to June 12) is affected by factors such as: increased US crude oil reserves, new US tax policies issued by the US President for many countries, upcoming OPEC+ meeting on plans to increase supply, Russia - Ukraine conflict... The above factors have caused world oil prices to increase in recent days.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on June 5 and the adjustment period on June 12 was: 84.560 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (up 0.112 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.15%); 86.838 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 0.190 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.22%); 93.208 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 3.268 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 3.39%); 93.290 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (up 4.836 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 4.93%); 489.698 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (up 5.800 USD/ton, equivalent to an increase of 1.17%).

This is the 23rd time in 2025 that gasoline prices have been adjusted. Of which, RON95 gasoline has increased 12 times and decreased 11 times, E5RON92 has increased 13 times and decreased 10 times, diesel has increased 11 times, decreased 11 times and kept the price unchanged, and fuel oil has increased 13 times and decreased 10 times.
