Survey to select locations to implement a model of classifying, collecting and treating domestic solid waste in Bao Lac

Delegation of the Department of Agriculture and Environment worked in Xuan Truong commune.

The delegation conducted surveys, assessed needs, selected implementation locations, participants to implement the model, and promoted awareness of classification, collection, and treatment of domestic solid waste at source.

In the surveyed communes, the goal of building a green, clean and beautiful environment is being gradually completed. Although there are still many challenges, being a remote and border commune, with the joint efforts of the entire political system and the people, the commune authorities are making efforts to effectively carry out environmental protection work.

During the survey, the delegation guided the locality to classify, collect, transport and treat waste effectively and in accordance with regulations; and to remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.

At the same time, discuss and agree with the People's Committee of Bao Lac district to select the location and site to implement the model of classifying, collecting and treating domestic solid waste. With the goal of seriously and effectively implementing the content of environmental sanitation, food safety, and rural clean water supply in new rural construction, contributing to creating a safe and sustainable rural living environment; building a bright - green - clean - beautiful, safe rural landscape, rich in traditional cultural identity, contributing to protecting the health and improving the quality of life of rural people in the period of 2024 - 2025.

In the coming time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize surveys, evaluate and select locations to implement a number of models of classification, collection and treatment of domestic solid waste at source in the district.
