From 3:00 p.m. on April 11, each liter of gasoline increased by more than 1,000 VND; oil products increased by more than 700 VND/liter/kg.
On the afternoon of April 11, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance adjusted gasoline prices according to the cycle. Specifically, the price of RON92 gasoline was adjusted up by VND1,091/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by VND1,120/liter; diesel increased by VND719/liter; kerosene increased by VND702/liter; and fuel oil increased by VND765/kg.

In this adjustment period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided to set aside the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund (BOG Fund) for E5RON92 gasoline at VND150/liter; RON95 gasoline at VND300/liter; diesel oil at VND300/liter; kerosene at VND300/liter; and fuel oil at VND0/kg.
At the same time, do not use the BOG Fund for gasoline, diesel oil and kerosene; use the BOG Fund for fuel oil at the rate of 300 VND/kg.
After making provisions and spending the BOG Petroleum Fund, the selling prices of popular petroleum products on the market are as follows: E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND 23,173/liter; RON95 gasoline is not higher than VND 24,245/liter; diesel oil is not higher than VND 20,149/liter; kerosene is not higher than VND 19,739/liter; mazut oil is not higher than VND 15,194/kg.
Thus, this is the 7th increase in gasoline prices. Since the beginning of 2023, gasoline prices have increased 7 times, decreased 2 times and remained unchanged 1 time.
