The opening ceremony of the tournament took place on November 23 at Cau Giay Pickleball Court Complex ( Hanoi ). The tournament gathered a large number of guests, sponsors, benefactors and 240 athletes from many press agencies, partner units and the Pickleball community.

During the opening ceremony, the tournament's organizers called for and received positive responses from athletes, guests and benefactors to support activities for people in the Central and Central Highlands regions who are being seriously affected by floods.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association , said: "This is not only a sports playground but also an opportunity to meet, exchange and connect between journalists, partners, guests and the sports-loving community, thereby spreading the spirit of health training, solidarity and sharing".

Athletes and guests join hands to support flood victims.

The President of the Vietnam Journalists Association also expressed his deep concern for the people of the Central and Central Highlands provinces who are severely affected by the floods, causing great loss of life and property. He called on athletes and guests to join hands to support, to help share the difficulties, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love - a precious tradition of the Vietnamese people.

In addition to the goal of improving spiritual life, the "Green Dream" Pickleball tournament also aims at a profound humanitarian mission by contributing to supporting children with cancer and awarding scholarships to journalism students with difficult circumstances who strive to excel in their studies.
