20% off pre-purchase train tickets for October

(CPV) – Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will reduce ticket prices by up to 20% for trains running in October 2023.

Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company (Haraco) informed that passengers buying train tickets from 3:00 p.m. on September 27 for trains running in October 2023 will receive a discount of up to 20%.

Specifically, for trains SP2, SP4 running from Lao Cai station to Hanoi station every Monday to Saturday; train NA1/2 between Hanoi - Vinh; train SE20 from Da Nang - Hanoi running every weekday: Buy 2 - 9 days in advance to get a 5% discount on the ticket price, 10 - 19 days in advance to get a 10% discount, 20 days or more in advance to get a 20% discount. However, the number of discounted tickets for each seat type is only 20 tickets/train/day.

This regulation on discount rates based on the time of ticket purchase and departure date is also applied to trains on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route running from Monday to Thursday every week, the number of discounted tickets for each seat type is 20 tickets/train/day. Applicable to Thong Nhat SE1/SE2, SE5/SE6 Hanoi - Saigon trains, SE19 Hanoi - Da Nang train on weekdays; tickets with a travel distance of 400 km or more; the number of discounted tickets for each seat type is 10 tickets/train/day.

The above prices do not apply to round-trip tickets, group tickets and social policy beneficiaries. These passengers have their own preferential and discount policies.

Also according to information from Haraco: From 8:00 a.m. on September 28, 2023, Haraco will continue to deploy on trains SE5/6, NA1/2 and trains on the Hanoi - Lao Cai route.

Previously (from September 15, Haraco) tested the QR code scanning application for ordering products and services on the Thong Nhat SE1/SE2, SE19/SE20 Hanoi - Da Nang trains and trains on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route. QR codes will be posted on the seats or in the sleeping compartments. Passengers will use their smartphones to scan the QR code to link to the sales website. On this page, passengers can choose to buy food and drinks to use right on the train by checking the items they want to buy. The system records and reports to the train staff, who will come to the passenger to confirm and notify the food service staff to serve the product to the passenger./.
