Sentence reduced for taxi driver who stabbed security guard to death

On August 15, at the end of the appeal trial, the High People's Court in Hanoi decided to reduce the prison sentence from life to 20 years for defendant Trinh Ba Trong (born in 1984, from Cam Khe district, Phu Tho province) for the crime of "Murder".

• Stabbed to death a drinking buddy in a rented room
• Sitting at a coffee shop in District 12, a man stabbed a woman to death and then committed suicide.
• Young man stabbed to death while traveling , sentenced to life in prison
• Stabbed brother to death, sentenced to 7 years in prison
