Supervising the implementation of the action program responsibilities of the XV National Assembly deputies and XV Provincial People's Council deputies

Comrade Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Supervisory Delegation chaired the supervision session. Participating in the supervision delegation were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission.

On the side of the supervised delegates, there was comrade Tran Thi Hong Thanh, National Assembly Delegate of the 15th term, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and a number of Provincial People's Council delegates of the 15th term, term 2021 - 2026.

This is an activity to concretize the 2015 Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front and documents of the Central Committee detailing forms of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Instruction No. 60 dated April 20, 2021 of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front "On receiving and supervising the implementation of the Action Program of deputies of the 15th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2021-2026 term".

In a constructive and frank spirit, members of the Supervisory Delegation questioned and the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council deputies under supervision explained and clarified: the implementation of the responsibility to participate in the activities of the National Assembly and People's Council; the implementation of the responsibility of the deputies to contact voters; the implementation of the responsibility to receive citizens, receive and handle complaints, denunciations and petitions of citizens; the proposals of the deputies to the Provincial People's Council in issuing Resolutions; the proactive study, improvement of qualifications, and training of skills to perform well the duties of elected deputies according to the law; the results of the implementation of commitments in the Action Program of the deputies, especially the specific contributions of the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council deputies in proposing solutions for socio -economic development in the localities where the deputies run for election.

Through supervision, it shows that the supervised delegates always have a high awareness in cultivating ethics, lifestyle and fulfilling exemplary responsibilities; strictly implementing the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; regulations on what cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees are not allowed to do; fully attending the sessions of the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council.

At meetings, proactively study records, documents, reports, submissions, draft resolutions, projects, and related documents to prepare opinions for speaking and questioning in discussion groups and in the hall during meetings, thereby actively contributing to the overall success of the meetings, basically meeting the expectations of voters and the people.

In addition to participating in the sessions of the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council; the delegates have arranged time to participate in the activities of the National Assembly, coordinate with relevant agencies to organize conferences to discuss, research, and contribute opinions to draft laws; coordinate with the Committees of the Provincial People's Council and the activities of the Provincial People's Council Delegation Groups according to regulations such as: participating in the review conferences of the Provincial People's Council Committees; participating in surveys and supervisions according to the plans of the Provincial People's Council Committees and of the Delegation Groups in the localities where the delegates are candidates.

Delegates participate responsibly and in accordance with regulations in regular voter meetings before and after sessions of the National Assembly; regular sessions of the Provincial People's Council as assigned by the Delegation Group.

At the voter meetings, the delegations performed the tasks assigned by the Delegation and received voters' feedback. After meeting voters, the delegates agreed on and classified opinions and recommendations within the jurisdiction of the locality, the province and the central government. At the same time, they performed well the citizen reception work according to regulations, contributing to promoting the supervisory role of elected representatives.

Many delegates have proposed solutions and proposals to the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council to issue policies to develop the socio-economy and improve institutions, such as: policies on education development, supporting young people to start businesses and establish businesses; supporting poor and near-poor households with housing difficulties to build and repair houses; proposing solutions to restore and develop sustainable tourism; participating in giving opinions on the drafting of the Land Law (amended)...

Comrade Do Viet Anh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, delivered a concluding speech at the supervision session.

Concluding the supervision session, Head of the supervision delegation Do Viet Anh acknowledged and highly appreciated the democratic spirit and responsibility of the members of the supervision delegation; highly appreciated the results of the National Assembly deputies and Provincial People's Council deputies of the 15th term who were supervised, and their efforts to fulfill their responsibilities as deputies in fulfilling their promises to voters in conjunction with their assigned duties.

To promote the achieved results and overcome the limitations, in the coming time, he requested the supervised delegates to continue to maintain close contact with the People, listen to the People's opinions, perform well the role of "bridge" between the People and State agencies; listen, respect, and absorb the People's opinions and recommendations, actively research and analyze the information received from many different perspectives to clarify the issues, on that basis, have viewpoints and opinions at meetings, propose to the National Assembly, the Provincial People's Council, and competent agencies to consider and resolve, especially the urgent issues arising from real life, meeting the legitimate aspirations of voters and the People. Strengthen responsibility in monitoring, urging, inspecting and supervising the settlement of People's opinions and recommendations.

Continue to promote the exemplary role as a Party member, head of an agency or unit, and as an elected representative, to perform assigned duties and tasks, and to excellently complete tasks.

Actively self-study, self-train, further improve professional qualifications and skills to participate with the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council in formulating, promulgating and implementing policies to further improve people's lives, develop the socio-economy in the province and the whole country, meet the aspirations and wishes of the people, well implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, build the homeland and the country to be more and more developed; affirm the role of representing the will, aspirations and mastery of the people, worthy of the trust and confidence of voters.
