Voluntary blood donation festival in Yen Khanh commune

On the morning of November 7, at the Cultural - Sports Center and Radio Station of Yen Khanh commune, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the People's Committees of Yen Khanh, Khanh Nhac, Khanh Thien, Khanh Hoi, and Khanh Trung communes to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival 2025.

Thanks to the good propaganda work, from early morning, at the blood donation point, more than 800 volunteers including cadres, union members, youth, and people in the communes came to register to participate in voluntary blood donation. The reception and guidance to complete the procedures were carried out quickly, promptly, and scientifically .

Voluntary blood donation is an activity that is maintained regularly and continuously every year, not only contributing to supplementing the blood reserve for emergency and patient treatment but also strongly spreading the spirit of humanity and the noble gesture of "Donating blood to save lives - a small action, great meaning" in the community.

Through screening, the Organizing Committee received 680 units of safe blood . The received blood was brought to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to separate blood components, then distributed to hospitals and medical centers in the province to help overcome the shortage of blood in emergency and patient treatment.
