Reduced by more than 100 billion VND to auction 26 shophouses under Sacombank's name

(Dan Tri) - The Ho Chi Minh City Property Auction Service Center has just announced that it will auction 26 shophouses registered under the name of Sacombank on October 9.

According to the announcement, the Center will auction 26 contracts for the purchase and sale of the right to use shophouses located at the base of four towers HR1, HR2, HR3 and M2 of the Eco Green Saigon project. This project is located on Nguyen Van Linh street, the shophouses have floor areas from 206.31 to 378.25 square meters.

All of the above assets are under the name of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( Sacombank ) and are being auctioned to recover the debt of Tuong Viet Trading and Production Company Limited.

These shophouses are secured assets, being processed according to related judgments and enforcement decisions. Auction records show that 95% of the value of the shophouses (equivalent to VND1,037 billion) has been paid to the investor.

It is known that the Eco Green Saigon project has the investor Xuan Mai Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, with a total area of ​​about 14.36 hectares, including 7 apartment buildings, a hotel, a high-end commercial center, a conference - wedding center, an internal park and a Primary School.

Previously, Sacombank had twice offered to sell this shophouse block in July and August with starting prices of VND1,171 billion and VND1,113 billion respectively, but were unsuccessful.

In the third auction, the bank continued to lower the price by more than 100 billion VND, down to 1,058 billion VND, lower than the price recorded in the auction documents (more than 1,091 billion VND).
