These are meaningful places, invaluable sources of "documents", practical "visual teaching aids" for theeducation sector of Hoang Hoa district to promote traditional education for students. According to statistics, every year, schools in Hoang Hoa district organize for thousands of students to participate in experiential activities at historical and cultural relics, famous landscapes and landscapes in the district. Thereby, helping students deeply understand the historical values ​​and revolutionary traditions of their homeland; fostering and raising awareness, revolutionary ideals, patriotism, and national pride.

A representative of the Department of Education and Training of Hoang Hoa district said that, along with organizing visits to historical and cultural sites for students, implementing the direction of the Department of Education, from the beginning of the school year, schools in the district have developed plans to integrate education on local cultural and historical traditions for students through core subjects such as Literature, History and Geography, Civic Education... During the teaching process, teachers are required to prepare historical materials that are scientific , selective, vivid, and suitable for each group of students, helping them understand the history of formation, development, and traditional values ​​of their homeland and country.

In many other localities, in addition to imparting knowledge, historical and cultural education activities are also focused on by schools to arouse the sense of responsibility, pride and respect for the nation's precious historical traditions for the younger generation. According to teacher Nguyen Thi Van, Vice Principal of Da Loc Secondary School (Hau Loc), in order for students to clearly understand the cultural, historical values ​​and fine traditions of their ancestors, the school regularly organizes extracurricular activities with many different topics such as "Repaying gratitude", "When drinking water, remember its source"... In particular, the school has chosen the revolutionary historical relic of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Quyen's house (Tom's mother) as the location to organize the annual admission ceremony for students to the Youth Union and many other activities of the school's Youth Union. Thereby, helping students deeply understand the revolutionary historical traditions of their homeland. At the same time, remind students to preserve and promote traditions, strive to study and practice to contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

According to the education sector, organizing practical lessons associated with local historical sites is an effective form of education, combining theory with practice, creating a good effect for students to actively learn about local history and culture. From there, students will know how to appreciate traditional values, contributing to preserving, conserving and promoting cultural heritage in a more effective and practical way. This is necessary and a correct direction, consistent with current educational practices, because traditional education content will be implemented flexibly, flexibly and diversely through historical sites. Reality has proven that there is no better traditional education than when students understand the land where they were born and raised, the place where their grandparents and parents made their living and established their careers. Each person's love for the country must originate from love for family, village, homeland...

Along with the education sector, over the past years, the Veterans Associations at all levels; Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union have also implemented many practical activities. For example, every time there are major anniversaries such as Ham Rong Victory, Dien Bien Phu History, Great Spring Victory 1975 or the founding day of the Vietnam People's Army..., students of many schools in Thanh Hoa City eagerly listen to the Veterans tell stories about the battlefield. With simple, clear storytelling language, convincing evidence and analysis, the traditional talks of the Veterans have brought students back in history to the heroic years of the nation.

In Ha Trung district, the district's Association of War Veterans has also established a reporting team of historical witnesses, with achievements in fighting against foreign invaders, with pure moral qualities, enthusiasm and responsibility to educate the district's youth about the great values ​​of national history through traditional talks, meetings with young people leaving for military service... According to statistics, from 2019 to the end of 2024, the Ha Trung district Association of War Veterans at all levels has organized 132 traditional education sessions with 26,217 participants. In addition to historical stories, the War Veterans also propagate, disseminate and educate the law on traffic safety, prevention of social evils... for union members, youth and students.

It is known that, implementing the joint program "Strengthening the training of revolutionary ideals, accompanying young people to establish their careers, build and defend the Fatherland" between the Association of War Veterans and Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union, in the past 5 years, the Association of War Veterans at all levels in the province has organized 1,522 traditional talks with 288,145 union members, youth, students and pupils participating. With knowledge, experience and practical experiences, through each specific story, the War Veterans - those who directly fought to protect national independence have been nurturing revolutionary ideals, helping the younger generation to have a correct understanding of national history, thereby knowing how to appreciate, preserve and promote in the new era.
