The exchange attracted nearly 100 delegates, including representatives of leaders of some provincial departments and branches, local leaders, Lao students studying at Dong Thap University, Dong Thap Community College, Dong Thap Medical College, union members and youth in Dong Thap province.
The exchange took place in a joyful and warm atmosphere with many rich activities such as: Performing arts, handing over the decision to change the name of the Overseas Students Club and introducing the Club's Board of Directors, giving gifts and New Year wishes to Lao and Cambodian students, organizing folk games, experiencing culture and cuisine at Tan Thuan Dong rural market...
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Dong Thap province Le Hoang Quyet sent New Year greetings to overseas students, hoping that they will celebrate Bunpimay with lots of joy and warmth in the land of lotus flowers and love.
He also expressed his hope that each international student will be a solid "bridge" contributing to further deepening the good friendship between the youth and people of Vietnam and Laos in general, and between Dong Thap and other localities in particular.

The activity not only contributes to preserving and promoting traditional cultural identity, but is also an opportunity to further strengthen solidarity and friendship between Vietnamese and Lao youth, spreading the message of a friendly, dynamic and creative Dong Thap.
