On May 19, Hai Duong Department of Construction chaired a working session with the management units of National Highway 5 and the localities through which this route passes to deploy a number of contents related to the construction of National Highway 5 through the province as a safe traffic route.

At the meeting, the units and localities discussed many issues to ensure traffic order and safety on the route. In particular, focusing on organizing traffic flow, especially vehicles with less than 4 axles traveling in the direction of National Highway 5 - Provincial Road 389 through Lai Vu Industrial Park (Kim Thanh) and handling connection points from gas stations to National Highway 5.

In order to increase the effectiveness of traffic regulation in Lai Vu Industrial Park, the Department of Construction recommends that units and localities identify suitable routes to separate traffic flows, and supplement the sign system at important intersections such as National Highway 5, Provincial Road 389 and inside the industrial park.

Organize the clearance of traffic safety corridor violations, clear trees, ensure visibility at the intersection of National Highway 5 with the main gate of the industrial park, the intersection of National Highway 5 with Provincial Road 389. Request the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police to organize patrols, guide traffic flow, handle violations, contribute to forming the habit of participating in traffic according to regulations for people and vehicles regularly traveling through this area.

Regarding the handling of the connection from gas stations to National Highway 5, units and localities organize to review and classify according to design and licensing records... On that basis, report to the Vietnam Road Administration and the Provincial People's Committee to consider closing unqualified connection points. For gas stations that meet the requirements, relevant units will guide the completion of the design according to legal regulations to ensure traffic safety.
