Author Gin Patin is honored to be invited to hold a solo exhibition of works revolving around the theme Nha Trang say hi - Journey through the lens.
The exhibition opened on the afternoon of May 30, serving the public and tourists during the preparation and festival period. This is Gin Patin's first solo exhibition, after many group exhibitions.

Gin Patin's real name is Nguyen Tam, born in 1970 in Nha Trang. Since coming to the art of photography, Gin Patin has had 20 years of experience holding the camera. Creativity is a quiet and private joy, but the name Gin Patin suddenly became famous on social networking platforms in early 2023 with the work Nha Trang night . To date, this work has reached more than 2 million interactions and is still the "nail" work on Gin Patin's creative journey.
In this exhibition, author Gin Patin has selected from his rich photo archive 50 works about the beauty and vitality of Nha Trang city - a place where the quintessence of nature and the efforts of many generations who fought and worked to protect, build and develop the city as it is today.
The photo exhibition space is arranged in a circle with 5 main themes: Dawn on the sea - Nha Trang awakens , Rhythm of coastal city life , Nature and heritage , Afternoon sun and sunset , Night on the coastal city . All combine into a large picture recreating the beauty and rhythm of the poetic, peaceful but also very dynamic and modern coastal city from the moment of welcoming the first rays of sunlight until the lights are turned on and then going to sleep peacefully.

Each photo is a piece of the soul
Gin Patin's main means of working is his beloved Leica and Canon cameras. The author often covers the scene from above, from the mountain ranges surrounding the city to zoom in on the city, capturing sharp frames that are both spacious and interesting. The most satisfying moments of pressing the shutter are the result of leaving home at 3-4 am to hunt for clouds, hunt for the sun or inspiration comes suddenly at night, especially when the weather turns rainy, about to storm...
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Binh ( Khanh Hoa Provincial Museum) shared: "Author Gin Patin is a very serious, passionate, and responsible artist. His works have creative and very realistic angles, suitable for the theme of Nha Trang Say Hi of the 2025 Khanh Hoa Province Sea Culture - Tourism Festival, bringing the public very new perspectives and feelings".
According to Gin Patin: "This exhibition is my passion, each photo is a piece of my soul, accumulated over 20 years, diligently observing, quietly collecting with a passion for the art of photography and the desire to contribute very unique perspectives on my hometown Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa".

Indeed, without passion, there cannot be such a persistent, silent, and sublime journey of creativity. With Gin Patin's solo exhibition, the coastal city of Nha Trang appears richly but consistently in its sparkling, brilliant beauty, worthy of being one of the most beautiful bays in the world .
Photography is the art of moments that never repeat, artists always aim to create new things. Generations of Khanh Hoa photographers have continuously contributed to making their homeland always new and beautiful in every moment, including young, dynamic talents (like photographer Gin Patin), who have been and are emerging, working side by side with previous generations.
