Unique traditional cultural features of the Central Highlands ethnic minorities through performing arts.
With the themes: “ Agriculture - Hunting, Fishing”, “Residential Architecture”, “Traditional Crafts”, “Music, Gongs” and “Rituals and Festivals in the Cultural Life of Ethnic Groups”, the exhibition introduces to viewers more than 300 documents, images and artifacts that are typical characteristics in the production labor, material life, spiritual life... of ethnic groups in the Central Highlands such as Ba Na, Xo Dang... and ethnic minorities in Khanh Hoa, typically the Raglai ethnic group.
In addition, the exhibition also introduces outdoor activities such as gong culture performances and Raglai folk singing and dancing; traditional handicraft performances; bonsai exhibitions, jewelry making and brocade weaving experiences, folk games, etc.
Khanh Hoa provincial leaders visit the exhibition.
Mr. Dinh Mot, Director of Dak Lak Provincial Museum, said that the Museum introduces to domestic and foreign visitors the values and traditional cultural features of the Central Highlands ethnic minorities through production activities and festivals. The exhibition also contributes to promoting and enhancing the role and responsibility of the community and the young generation in preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic groups, contributing to enriching and diversifying the culture of the big family of Vietnamese ethnic groups, creating a premise for national construction.
The exhibition runs until August 30.
