Deputy Minister of Economy and Development of Greece visited the Vietnamese booth.

In an effort to carry out economic diplomacy and bring the image of Vietnam to the Greek business community, the Balkan region and the world, the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece organized a Vietnamese booth at the 89th Thessaloniki International Trade Exhibition (TIF) taking place from September 6-14 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

With the leading scale in the Balkan region, the 89th TIF Exhibition attracted the participation of more than 1,100 units, including leading enterprises in Greece, the Balkan region and 19 countries around the world .

The Vietnam Corner at the Thessaloniki International Trade Exhibition includes the booth of the Vietnamese Embassy and booths of 3 Vietnamese enterprises.

With a variety of products from traditional dishes, traditional handicrafts to dried fruits, dried goods, tea, coffee..., especially the colorful space of Vietnam at the booth attracted the attention of visitors, including the Deputy Minister of the Greek Ministry of Economy and Development, Ambassadors of Bangladesh and Pakistan, Assistant, Financial Advisor of the Indian Ministry of Textiles, businesses, Greek business associations and a large number of Greek people.

The exhibition attracts tens of thousands of visitors every day, an opportunity to introduce and bring Vietnam's image closer to the public and local businesses.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece organized an introduction and connection between Vietnamese enterprises participating in the Exhibition and Greek partners, especially in dried fruit products and labor market supply.

Within the framework of the Exhibition, Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong attended the opening speech of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, one of the important policy-oriented speeches that received great attention from the local business community and politicians.

The Vietnamese Ambassador also had a meeting with Greek Vice President Konstantinos Chatzidakis, introducing to the Vice President Vietnam's booth at the Exhibition, the good friendship and cooperation between the two countries, especially in the year of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The Vietnamese Ambassador also met and discussed with the President of the Greek Industry Federation in Thessaloniki, Ms. Koukia A. Saranti, to learn about the needs and possibilities of connecting businesses of the two sides, especially in the fields of construction materials and agricultural products. The two sides agreed to organize both direct and online meetings between businesses of the two countries in the near future.
