Vividly introduce the comprehensive achievements of the Party and Government

Within the framework of the 1st Congress of the Government Party Committee, term 2025-2030, taking place from October 12-13, 2025, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and a number of ministries and branches organized large-scale exhibition spaces, introducing the picture of the country's comprehensive development under the leadership of the Party and Government; affirming Vietnam's position as a dynamic, creative and deeply integrated country in the new era.

Mainstream news closely follows the country's current events

In the solemn space at the National Convention Center, where the first Government Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term took place, VNA organized an exhibition of more than 500 typical photos and four graphics, comprehensively reflecting the country's achievements under the leadership of the Party and Government during the past term.

VNA General Director Vu Viet Trang said that the exhibition vividly reflects the country's development process in the period of innovation and deep integration under the leadership of the Party and the administration of the Government, headed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Along with that are many typical images of the activities of Party and State leaders during the 13th National Congress term, demonstrating the spirit of innovation, solidarity and aspiration to build a prosperous and happy country. Many works reflect the period when the whole country joined hands to prevent, fight and overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, the results of recovery, socio -economic development, administrative reform, promoting digital transformation, environmental protection, climate change adaptation, improving the quality of healthcare, education, sports as well as deep international integration.

General Director Vu Viet Trang emphasized that more than 500 photos and 4 carefully selected graphics affirm the role of the national news agency in truthfully and promptly conveying the image of Vietnam to the public on this important occasion.

Sharing about the preparation process for this meaningful exhibition, journalist Nguyen Quang Hai, Head of the Photo Editorial Board (VNA) said that the works were carefully selected from tens of thousands of photos of VNA distributed to domestic and foreign press agencies for use. The content of the photos closely follows the theme "Building a clean and strong Government Party Committee; solidarity, exemplary leadership in science, technology, innovation, digital transformation; accelerating breakthroughs, developing the country quickly and sustainably in the era of rising up, becoming rich, prosperous, civilized, and happy" and the motto "Solidarity, discipline - Democracy, innovation - Development creation - Effective integration".

In the context of the country's strong innovation and development, the Party and Government have implemented many major policies and guidelines in all fields, in line with the reality and development requirements of the new period. In response to that movement, the displayed images also partly demonstrate that press activities in general and VNA in particular have constantly innovated, reflecting the country's current situation in a timely, vivid and multi-dimensional manner.

VNA's information has faithfully and specifically conveyed the leadership and management activities of the Party and Government, effectively demonstrating the policies brought to life with practical results. The authentic and timely photos not only contribute to strengthening trust and arousing the spirit of innovation, but also contribute to spreading the image of a dynamic, integrated and developing Vietnam to the public at home and abroad.

With the message "Science, technology, innovation and digital transformation are breakthrough driving forces for national development", the Exhibition space presents an overview of the 2020 - 2025 period with achievements in the fields of natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, agricultural sciences, medical sciences, science and technology in the field of national defense and security; achievements in innovation, digital transformation and a list of strategic technologies in the new era; affirming the ranking of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of Vietnam in the region and internationally.

Through the display format combining posters, models, physical products, demonstration technology (robots, artificial intelligence, digital interaction and presentation clips), the achievements are presented vividly, attractively, aiming at direct interaction with visitors.

Achievements in natural sciences convey the message of a solid knowledge foundation for Vietnam to maintain high regional rankings in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Agriculture...

In the field of science, technology and engineering, the Exhibition introduces outstanding achievements in economic sectors such as telecommunications, transportation, construction, energy and oil and gas industry, large-tonnage shipbuilding technology, satellite manufacturing technology, robot development... Thereby demonstrating the spirit of mastering key technologies, increasing localization, promoting industrialization and digital transformation.

The message of autonomy in research, manufacturing, and modernization of weapons and equipment, and dual-use contributions to the socio-economy of the group of scientific and technological achievements in the field of national defense and security is demonstrated through the capacity to research, master technology, design, manufacture, and modernize weapons and military technical equipment.

In particular, the Exhibition has a separate space to introduce institutional achievements with a completed system of legal documents, creating a favorable legal corridor for science and technology activities, innovation and digital transformation. These are Resolution No. 57/NQ-TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Law on Digital Technology Industry; Law on Science, Technology and Innovation 2025; Law on Atomic Energy 2025, etc.

According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, in 2024, the international ranking of Vietnamese science out of 195 countries and territories in typical fields will have significant improvements. Specifically, in the field of economics and finance, it is ranked 22/195; business administration and accounting 25/195; Mathematics 37/195; Chemistry 38/195; Life sciences 41/195; Earth sciences 44/195; Social sciences 46/195; Physics 49/195.
