This is the third season of the “Vietnamese Beauty” series, but this year marks a turning point when heritage is placed at the center, both as a fulcrum and a source of creative inspiration. The event not only continues to promote the traditional effectiveness of the previous two seasons, but also opens a new journey: Combining modern technology and traditional cultural values to promote sustainable tourism .

In the previous season, “Vietnamese Beauty” conducted more than 60 hours of livestreaming from Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Lam Dong provinces and attracted more than 10 million views. This year, the program has been expanded in scale, with more in-depth content, exploring Vietnam’s ancient capitals through a fresh, emotional perspective of the young creative generation.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund - emphasized: “Technology is no longer a dry field in the research lab. With a platform like TikTok LIVE, each smartphone is a 'window' opening to the world. Heritage is no longer just in books or museums but can be felt vividly, authentically and inspiringly.”

As part of the program, experts in culture, media, technology and tourism will discuss the potential for sustainable tourism linked to heritage, the role of social media in raising public awareness about conservation, and how little-known heritage sites can become attractive destinations.

Augmented reality (AR), big data and artificial intelligence (AI) are also included in the program as tools to help create vivid and personalized heritage experiences. The values that are hidden in ancient towers, communal houses or community memories can now be seen on the phone screen, a new form of approach that is highly interactive and suitable for young people.

Content creator Kim Thao Anh (@kimthaoanh) excitedly shared: “I am proud to be a part of the program. This is an opportunity for young people to explore cultural destinations even if they do not have the opportunity to visit them in person, and for international friends to know more about the beauty of Vietnam’s heritage.”
