Chairman of the People's Committee of Giong Trom District, Le Van Nhan, shared: In recent times, Giong Trom District has always identified administrative reform as one of the key and breakthrough tasks in implementing local political tasks, so it has focused on leading and implementing this work well. Thereby, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, creating a driving force to promote local socio-economic development.

District plans are developed and implemented, focusing on all areas of administrative reform, with emphasis on administrative procedure reform (APR), improving the quality of public service performance of cadres, civil servants, and public employees (CBCCVC) from the district to the grassroots level, and digital government. The District People's Committee regularly urges, guides, and inspects agencies, units, and commune-level People's Committees to effectively implement administrative reform. The targets set out in the PAR plan are completed and progress is ensured.

Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Giong Trom District, Tran Thong Nhat, said: With the close direction of the District Party Committee, the supervision of the District People's Council and the guidance, regular inspection and reminders of the province, the district has promptly concretized and implemented the directives of the superiors. The work of urging and reminding units and localities has been carried out regularly so that the administrative reform task is increasingly orderly, stable and effective. The responsibility of the head has been raised. Agencies and units pay more attention to the quality of service to the people, taking the satisfaction of the people as the criterion for operation. The team of civil servants and public employees upholds the sense of responsibility, giving good advice to the leaders in performing their tasks. At the same time, through the district's electronic information page, ensuring timely provision of information on economic, political, cultural, social, national defense and security activities of the district, providing information for management, operation and provision of online public services in accordance with regulations; Regularly update and fully provide information on socio-economics; information on direction and management of district leaders, on regimes, policies and laws of the Party and State to serve people and businesses...

The work of controlling administrative procedures has received close attention and direction. Administrative procedures are publicly and transparently posted, creating favorable conditions for people to participate in monitoring the administrative procedure settlement activities of state administrative agencies and the activities of civil servants. The results of handling administrative procedures for people and businesses are always on time. Specifically, from the beginning of 2022 to now, the district has received over 136,000 records of all kinds, most of which have been resolved on time.

In 2022, the district organized an examination to recruit civil servants at the commune level, resulting in the recruitment of 9 civil servants to work at the People's Committees of 8 communes and towns; organized examinations, received civil servants at the commune level without examination, recruited 6 cases; recruited 1 case. Civil servants of the district always perform well the assigned tasks, have a sense of responsibility for the work. The district also regularly pays attention to training and fostering to improve the qualifications of the civil servant team. Since the beginning of 2022, the District People's Committee has sent 746 civil servants for training.

The implementation of the mechanism of autonomy and self-responsibility for the use of staff and administrative management costs has contributed to promoting state agencies to reorganize their apparatus, arrange and use civil servants in accordance with their functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure.

The construction of e-government and digital government has achieved some positive results. The District Party Committee and People's Committee have directed the implementation of promoting the application of information technology, building e-government, digital government, digital transformation, thereby contributing to improving the capacity of direction and administration, promoting administrative reform, serving businesses and people more and more effectively; maintaining the good implementation of iOffice software application in handling work according to outgoing and incoming documents...

At the recent inspection of administrative reform work of the People's Committee of Giong Trom district, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thi acknowledged the efforts of the district and requested the locality to continue promoting the achieved results of administrative reform and overcome the remaining limitations. Thereby, improving the sense of responsibility and service attitude of civil servants; strictly implementing discipline, administrative discipline, internal rules and working regulations of agencies and units. Improving the quality of public administrative service provision, simplifying regulations, streamlining the apparatus, especially promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation, promoting the construction of e-government.
