Awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances in Giong Trom district

Party Central Committee member - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thanh Dat and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Be Muoi presented scholarships to disadvantaged students.

Attending the program were Party Central Committee member - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thanh Dat; Ms. Ho Cong Can - wife of the late Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong, advisor to the Truong Vinh Trong Scholarship Fund of Giong Trom district; Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Be Muoi; Dr. Huynh Ky Tran - Outstanding Dong Khoi citizen, Chairman of Ben Tre Business Club in Ho Chi Minh City - Chairman of Truong Vinh Trong Scholarship Fund, leaders of provincial departments and agencies and sponsoring units.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 200 scholarships (VND 1 million/scholarship) to students of 3 levels with difficult circumstances in Giong Trom district, sponsored by the Party Central Committee member - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thanh Dat, with the Saigon Economic Times Fund and Truong Vinh Trong Scholarship Fund. The total cost is VND 200 million.

In addition, the sponsor awarded scholarships to Phan Tran Nhut Huy (Pham Viet Chanh Secondary School) and Nguyen Ngoc Dang Thy (Nguyen Ngoc Thang High School). have especially difficult family circumstances; each child receives 12 million VND.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the People's Committee of Giong Trom district Le Van Tuong acknowledged and appreciated the precious sentiments of the Central Party Committee member - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thanh Dat for Giong Trom district . He praised the spirit of overcoming difficulties of the students in the attention of leaders at all levels.
