Google Photos on Chromebook can create videos

Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên28/04/2023

Chromebooks are laptops that run ChromeOS, a Linux-based operating system that revolves around the Google Chrome browser. In July 2022, Google said it would soon launch new video editing features in the Google Photos app.

After nearly a year, the update is finally here, allowing users to create home movies more easily with just a few clicks.

If you want to skip the hassle of making your own movie, you can select the photos and videos you want to use to create a movie. Then click the plus icon and select movie. Google Photos will provide a series of faces for you to choose to highlight in the video clip. Google's cloud-based photo storage application will process and export the movie with background music in a few seconds.

Google Photos now supports creating videos from photos stored on this platform.

The app also gives users more granular control over the movie creation process, allowing them to manually rearrange the files in the video timeline. Users can also add photos and video clips from their computer (which are not backed up to Google Photos).

Google now lets you edit individual video clips and photos while they're being created, which is useful when you need to adjust photo color and balance tones between scenes.

Google also offers a wide collection of theme music inside the Google Photos app, users can also select and upload music to the app to add to videos.

Most new Chromebooks come with the Google Photos app as part of the stock operating system. If you don't have it, you can install it from the Play Store.
