On the morning of July 1, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice, Vietnam Law Newspaper launched the 3rd Program to vote and honor Legal Exemplars in 2025 to spread the spirit of respect for the law and humanistic values.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Dr. Vu Hoai Nam - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper, Head of the Program Organizing Committee said that in 2021, the Ministry of Justice approved the Project to select and honor outstanding individuals in law-making and implementation (Legal Exemplar).
To implement this project, on the occasion of Vietnam Law Day 2021, the Organizing Committee selected and honored 50 outstanding individuals nationwide (first time), and by 2023, selected and honored 50 outstanding individuals nationwide (second time).

Mr. Vu Hoai Nam stated that the legal exemplars that were selected and honored are typical individuals representing sectors, fields and localities who have made positive contributions to the work of building, organizing and enforcing the law, thereby spreading good images, heroic examples, and sacrifices of citizens, cadres and civil servants in the cause of building a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam.
The 3rd Legal Exemplary Voting and Honoring Program in 2025 continues to be held to commend and honor outstanding individuals in the construction and enforcement of laws.
Mr. Nam informed that this is also an activity to diversify the forms of propaganda, dissemination and legal education, improve the effectiveness of legal propaganda by building exemplary individuals and typical figures in law enforcement, spreading the spirit of respect for the law, living and working according to the Constitution and the law and good, noble humanistic values in society.

According to the Director of the Department of Legal Dissemination and Education, the program was organized methodically and elaborately, with both breadth and depth of information and a strict and fair voting process. Accordingly, the honoring ceremony has become a bright spot in response to Vietnam Law Day, receiving high appreciation from all levels, sectors and especially from the people and society.
As a unit of the Ministry of Justice, performing the function of State management of law management. Including the task of implementing the program of voting for Good Law Models, the Department of Dissemination and Education of Law commits to accompany and closely coordinate so that the program becomes more systematic and achieves its great goals and significance. The members of the Voting Council also commit to work impartially and fairly to select worthy models.
Sharing at the ceremony, National Assembly Deputy, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Chu Hoi - who was honored as a Legal Exemplar 2023, said that in the process of building and enforcing laws, the important thing is to bring the law into life.

For a country to develop, the rule of law and the legal system must not only meet quality standards but also ensure practical applicability. Therefore, Mr. Hoi believes that the Legal Model voting program is very important and meaningful in spreading these values.
The voting subjects of the program are civil servants, public employees, workers in state agencies, armed forces, enterprises, and individuals residing in Vietnam with specific achievements and jobs that have positive significance for the building and organization of law enforcement.
The voting council consists of 7 to 11 people, a group of prestigious individuals representing state agencies, socio-political organizations, and professional social organizations established by the Organizing Committee to conduct the voting.
Based on the voting results of the Voting Council, the Organizing Committee will announce the list of organizations and individuals receiving titles and awards, and organize a title and honor ceremony .
