Contribute to promoting the beauty of Vinh Phuc land and people

With youthful yet gentle and profound melodies and musical materials of pop ballad, musician Hoang Quy, member of the Music - Stage Association, Provincial Literature and Arts Association, has portrayed the history, culture, and natural beauty of Vinh Phuc land and people in his works.

Songs bearing the imprint of Vinh Phuc's land such as: Listening to Binh Xuyen land telling my name, Promise to return to Binh Xuyen, Joining hands to build Tam Duong beautiful and rich, Vinh Yen peaceful stork wings... are all vividly portrayed by the musician as heroic feats of the past, expressing the achievements and determination to build the homeland in the new era.

As someone who cherishes the cultural heritage of his homeland, musician Hoang Quy also incorporates folk cultural materials such as Xam singing and Chau Van singing into his compositions, including the work "Ai ve Vinh Phuc hom nay" which won the National Gold Medal at the Van singing and Chau Van singing Festival organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2018.

Musician Hoang Quy shared: “As a person born and raised in Vinh Phuc, a land rich in culture and history, and also a dynamic locality in socio-economic development, I am deeply aware of the responsibility to spread the beauty and development to many friends inside and outside the province through art and music. Each cultural and historical value as well as the development of the province brings me creative inspiration. When writing songs about each locality, I always pay attention to deeply understanding the historical, cultural, economic, and human characteristics of the locality so that the work can clearly and completely express the image of that land.”

Over the years, the theme of homeland has always been an endless source of inspiration for artists. The works all convey love and pride for the land and people of Vinh Phuc. Many works have won awards in national competitions, been displayed and exhibited in other localities, and have been adapted into films, etc., contributing to spreading the beauty and image of Vinh Phuc to friends in the country.

Among them, there are many typical authors with works about Vinh Phuc, inspired by their homeland such as painter Quynh Thom with the exhibition "Sac que" in Hanoi, recreating the simple, rustic beauty and the changes of Vinh Phuc countryside; writer Nguyen Nhuan Hong Phuong with the novels "Dong vong nguoc chieu", "Van may"... adapted into feature films by Vietnam Feature Film Studio; poets Hoang Ta, Nguyen Cong Duong with the works "Cai san choi biet di", "Luy tre" selected and included in textbooks taught in general schools...

Many works written about Vinh Phuc by artists and members of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association have won high prizes in competitions, contributing to spreading and promoting the beauty of Vinh Phuc land and people.

Typical examples include the song "Ve Tam Dao nho em" by author Tran Binh, which won a Silver Medal at the National Song, Dance and Music Festival; the work "Nhịp diep công trình" by author Dinh Van Cuong, which won a Silver Medal at the 18th Northern Mountainous Region Art Photography Festival; the play "Vinh Phuc - My Homeland" won a Silver Medal, the female solo performance "Quoc mau Tay Thien" won a Gold Medal at the 1st National Song, Dance and Music Festival in 2024...

To promote the creative movement among members and people, creating works of high artistic value in general and works about Vinh Phuc homeland in particular, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association has carried out many activities such as launching and organizing creative competitions on specialized topics and fields; organizing creative camps every year, especially specialized creative camps for various types; coordinating with sectors and localities to organize creative campaigns; having a policy of ordering authors to compose long works, profound works about sectors and localities, especially on the topics of revolutionary history, industrialization and modernization of the country; launching creative movements among the masses in sectors, agencies, units, etc.

Vinh Phuc is entering a new era, an era of national growth with innovation and creativity every day. With emotions and overflowing love for the homeland, writers and artists in the province have, are and will record the changes of the province, spreading the image of a beautiful Vinh Phuc with rich identity on the path of development.
