Spring rolls (Nem) are one of the best-selling OCOP (One Commune One Product) products during the April 30th - May 1st holiday. Considered a specialty of Thanh Hoa province and certified with OCOP standards, they have attracted significant consumer interest. Furthermore, spring rolls are a popular souvenir choice for tourists , leading to increased sales. Therefore, before and during the holiday, OCOP spring roll producers in the province had to increase their workforce to meet order volumes. Surveys of several stores show that sales of spring rolls during the holiday increased by 50% compared to normal days.

Thanh Hoa province currently has over 600 OCOP products across various categories. During holidays, most OCOP products experience increased sales. Among them, food products such as fermented pork sausage (nem chua), pork sausage (gio), fish sauce, and handicrafts/gifts have the highest sales. To meet the needs of consumers and tourists, from the beginning of April, businesses, cooperatives, and households producing OCOP products proactively prepared to ensure a large supply for the market. Notably, during the April 30th - May 1st holiday, Thanh Hoa city and several districts organized exhibitions and product introductions of OCOP products, attracting significant consumer interest and purchases.
Ms. Le Thi Viet from Nong Cong District, Thanh Hoa Province, said: "During the April 30th and May 1st holidays, we, as an OCOP (One Commune One Product) product in Thanh Hoa, saw a large influx of visitors and shoppers at Hoi An Park, resulting in a 30-40% increase in sales compared to normal days. Since our OCOP products already have a brand name, customers trust and buy from us."
The surge in market consumption during the holiday season has affirmed the brand, attractiveness, and increased competitiveness of Thanh Hoa province's OCOP products in both domestic and international markets. Despite the high demand, the prices of OCOP products remained stable during the holiday period. This is also a factor contributing to the credibility of Thanh Hoa's OCOP products and bringing them closer to consumers.
