Comments on the draft documents of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term

On May 30, at the headquarters of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, the Document Subcommittee Conference was held to give comments on the first draft of the Documents of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Hoang Duy Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Kan Province and Comrade Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, co-chaired the Conference.

Clearly identifying the meaning and importance of drafting congress documents, based on the Central's directives and instructions and the practical situation, the Provincial Party Committees of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces promptly directed the establishment of the Editorial Team for the Congress Documents of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

According to the first draft of the Political Report, the theme of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is: Strengthening the building and rectification of the Party and a clean and strong political system; ensuring national defense and security; promoting the tradition of solidarity and development aspirations; mobilizing and effectively using resources, promoting digital transformation, green transformation, and regional linkages for rapid and sustainable development; comprehensively improving people's lives. Building Thai Nguyen province into a modern industrial center with high average income before 2030.

The draft provides an overview of the implementation situation, influencing factors; results of implementing targets and tasks; 5 outstanding common achievements of the two provinces before the merger; limitations, causes and lessons learned in the 2020-2025 term.

Comrade Vu Duy Hoang, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, presented the content of the draft Political Report.

The draft Political Report identifies the general goal for the 2025-2030 term as: Comprehensively improving people's lives, building Thai Nguyen province into a modern industrial center with high average income before 2030, striving to become a developed province with high income before 2045.

In particular, 16 main groups of indicators in various fields in the 2025-2030 term are specifically calculated, ensuring the correct direction of the Central Government and consistent with the practical situation of Thai Nguyen province after the merger. In particular, the most concerned indicator is the average economic growth rate (GRDP) ensuring the correct spirit of the Central Government's direction to reach "double digits".

At the Conference, delegates contributed many opinions to the first draft of the Documents of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, focusing on a number of contents: Congress theme, general goals, a number of targets for the next term, especially component targets on green growth and digital transformation - new targets of the term. The tasks and solutions during the term were also mentioned by delegates.

Speaking at the Conference, Secretary of Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee Hoang Duy Chinh and Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Trinh Viet Hung highly appreciated the efforts, seriousness and responsibility of the Document Subcommittees of the two provinces.

The two comrades affirmed that the first draft of the Documents of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term has complete, scientific content, and guaranteed capacity; the topics, directions, and tasks are fully updated with the new instructions of the Central Committee. The two comrades suggested that some contents in the draft Documents should be edited to be more concise and general, in accordance with the sections such as the evaluation of achieved results.

Regarding directions and tasks, it is necessary to continue updating new directions from the Central Government such as Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development; on adjusting the planning of the two provinces to synchronize development solutions; and paying attention to further studying policies on education and health. The targets for the new term in all fields need to be carefully considered, close to the actual situation of the new province after the merger, especially the "double-digit" growth target.

The two comrades requested the Document Editorial Team to fully and seriously absorb the opinions of the delegates at the Conference, thereby editing the draft content to ensure suitability./.
